What is Google Webmaster Tools/Google Search Console?

Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) is a free service supplied by the search engine giant.
It is Google's primary communication channel with webmasters.
The Google Search Console has recently been renamed.

It enables webmasters to do a variety of tasks, including checking indexing status and optimising website visibility.
This is where you keep track of your robot.txt, disavows, crawling, and other things.
